My mom and her husband came to visit this weekend and although as always the time was too short, we had a great time. My mom and Ken watched the baby while we worked on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday Ken went to Indiana to visit with his kids and my mom and Lucy spent the whole day together. We all three went shopping for some new clothes for me. Also Lucy got a bath towel that buttons in the front kinda and has a big ‘L’ on the back. So it looks like a super hero cape. Very cool. After shopping we dropped Lucy off with Jason and we went to get a lot of hair cut off.
I have pictures on my phone of the process which I brillantly left at home. But let’s just say that the amount of hair they cut off could cover probably the state of Illinois. I have *a lot* of hair, and it was really long. And now it’s super short. And super blonde. Which is fun.
On Saturday night Mom watched Lucy after we put her to bed and Jason and I went out to Sheffields. We had a seriously great time.
And now we are at Monday. Friday starts a really big family vacation and we are both so excited. Jason is working on Friday but I took the day off to get stuff together and run some errands. We are renting a big house up in Michigan with Jason’s two brothers, their wives, their kids and Jason’s parents. It should be awesome.
