This morning we put little Miss Lucy Lu on her stomach which she doesn’t hate, but doesn’t love either. Usually she deals with it for a few minutes before barking at us letting us know she’s done with that business. This morning however, she kept her big noggin’ held up for a long time, and then started trying to look behind her. She got herself on to her side, and then layed there for a little bit and then kept looking back. Eventually she got her leg under her and over she went on to her back! It was awesome. Jason and I sat there like idiots clapping in her face and cheering, “Good Job!!!!!” After my Dad got there this morning we tried again, and while she was more angry, with the being on the stomach, she got back on to her back a little quicker this time. It’s so frustrating because you just want to give them a little nudge cause they are so close, but you have to let them do it.
So I think we got one of the first major milestones under our belt. Can’t wait to see her figure out how to go the other way.
