It’s very clear that I haven’t been alone for a very long time (going on ten years now, I suppose), because I simply just don’t know what to do with myself when I’m alone anymore. Seriously. I know I can do lots of fun and exciting things but then I’m like, eh, let’s just watch Seinfeld. Hour after hour goes by and I haven’t done anything.
Maybe I should watch a movie. Meh, what’s the point. For whatever reason, I get bored watching movies alone anymore. Which, if you think about it is really weird. I mean, if you watch a movie with someone…it’s really the exact same as watching the movie alone. I mean, unless the other person is all chatty, but then that’s really just annoying.
So anyway, Leah and Lu have been away in Florida since Thursday and I’ve accomplished very little. The house is pretty tidy and I’m getting some laundry done, but other than that? Read some internet (cubs), watch some seinfeld and a bit of basketball, and that’s about it. Blah.
So tonight I’m trying to have some fun and prove to myself that I can have fun by myself. Not as much fun as with the fam, but some fun. So I put in some Eddie Izzard standup (awesome) and poured myself a little wine and MAYBE if I’m feeling crazy tonight, I’ll play some video games. NO! YES! I’m just that crazy. Oh, and laundry. Always lots of laundry.
Okay, back to Eddie Izzard. Currently I’m learning about Hitler. Turns out he was a mass murdering f**khead. Who knew?
